New Patients at
Bloom Dental
What to Expect at Your New-Patient Appointment
At Bloom Dental, you can expect a level of care where we listen to your concerns and provide thorough care for each member of your family. Our goal is to be flexible, offering services that better your oral health without pushing treatments you don’t need.
What to Bring With You
Be sure to bring a physical or digital copy of your private insurance card to your appointment so that we can process the claim on the spot. We are a preferred provider for Bupa, NIB and CBHS. Additionally, we also accept Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) for Children between ages 2 and 17.
When You Arrive
At your first appointment, we’ll collect information such as contact details and your medical and dental history. When you’ve completed your intake paperwork, our team will enter your details into our system and verify your private insurance eligibility for treatment.
Next, you’ll be greeted by one of our dental nurses, who will escort you to our OPG room to take an x-ray. From there, you’ll be guided to a treatment room where you’ll meet Dr Julia who will review all relevant scans and information and discuss any problems or concerns you may have. She will use a small intraoral camera to capture digital photos of your teeth, then carefully clean your teeth and apply a fluoride treatment.
After your scale-and-clean is completed, Dr Julia will sit with you in front of the computer to review photographs and records and discuss any concerns that she observed. If treatment is needed, she will review her recommendations and answer any questions you may have about your care options.
We Accept all Health Funds
